Her friend

Elmonia DeWee 1998 (Northern - Cape, Groblershoop)

Her friend

She's rolling in her flood of tears
Not, because she's hurt, but out of fears
Fears that nothing she plans will work out
Is she evens allowed to shout

Cause she remember the jugdement that lead her to the quite girl she became
She feels insane
Insane, cause she started to be friends with the girl in the mirror who never talk
She tried to show her the world how the world works, but remembers she can't even walk

How could she even be friends with the one who can't even wipe one drop of tear
She listens, but she can't hear
She never talks, not at all
Will she be able the catch her when  she fall...

Well, atleast she listens without judging her
She's handling her shouts, without leaving her
Just like the river carries a flood of water, she carries her complains
And there's nothing that she has to explain

Dear mirror she hopes you never cracks, cause you look her straight in the face whether  happy or sad
You surely never treat her bad
One day her tears will dry up again
Yes, and she will surely smile at you whenever she can

Cause she remembers that tears never last forever.....
