already inside after
Initial invitation.
Forlorn fangs
drawn back,
curtain call.
True love never dies,
From ashes nightly
Will arise.
Turned on, tuned in,
another frequency,
higher pitch,
assured responding.
Blind bats feed freely
from found fallen fruit
silence; sound sought
net, knot taut,
in evil clutches caught
brimming from being's blood
or nature nourishing enough?
