Black
Dear Black Child
If love is blind then I'll write you these poems in braille,
Just so you understand how your presence makes me feel like an infant I loose my senses around you, ndabafye ichipuba. (I become a fool)
If love is pain then let me bleed to death , just a glance at you I feel endorphines released am high on dopamine, ndofwa kwati nimpepa ibange (I feel like I've smoked weed) trust me it's crazy how I find myself laughing , smiling whenever I walk past you .
If love is promises then am broken , I mean you're the gravity and am the falling pantu (because) your astonishing beauty makes me wonder, you're more of an angel in your past life.
If this be a dream I don't wanna be awaken.
See how natural and soundness of a person you are ?
Your madness makes quite feel afraid cause you dance to the silence
Was your father a thief ?
I wonder how he managed to steal the stars and place them in your eyes .
I wonder how he managed to get the best of drum beaters to place that magical instrument that makes you eloquent peace
Walintoba umutwe nga toba (You have messed up my head like a mess)
Kiwena musali womunde (You're a beautiful woman), musimbi Mubotu nachisotwe (beautiful girl) uwabalikila ngenyali (who lights up like white pure clothing) and am blown away
You're authentic like the mukuyu (tree)
