Free verse
Against my window you pound so softly...
Scrutinize my rapture purely...
I hear you hummingbird...
Easing my mind as I take in your beguiling dictate...
In repose my soul eased, my mind free..
Overflowing me with your warmth...
Slay me with your tenderness...
I see you hummingbird...
Clutching my form, grasping my beauty benevolently..
Emotionally Astound at inordinate attentiveness, I weep in pleasure..
I feel you hummingbird....

About this poem

The spirit of the hummingbird encourages you to open up your soul and let your loved ones see your true feelings...this poem is one opening up to their partner and allowing them to love their soul inside and out.
