August

Zoha jan baloch 2004 (Karachi)

With pleasure comes pain
Such is my life , without you , in vain
Begging him to fill the void in my heart
With his guitar scars and hideous art
Don't you wanna dance till the moon arise
His eyes and lips never fail to mesmerize
I wish to cherish you till my dying day
Your kisses drive my breath far away
Oh to know the blissfull taste of you
My ravenous stares are my love letters to you
I'll build your monument as you read them
The tears in your eyes made me believe them
But you blamed it on the misty weather of june
And laughed so graciously like a bloom
Just as the poets defend the moons
I'll protect you in the disguise of goons
I felt my overbearing nerves as i wrote your name
Even in the darkest pits of my heart has your light came
For you , I'll give up this worldly fame
Before you , i thought love was just a fool's game
If you ever forget us , read my poetry
That's where you'll always find me
You took my heart but forgot these words
So I'll write them instead until they make my eyes blur
When i tell you I've missed you , you seem content with it
That I've reckoned you in my brain , lit
But should you ever know how much it aches
And i never know how to explain
My body craves you more than my favorite polyester
Soon we'll be dancing in these rains together
The ground is muddy under our feet
And my favorite melody , you , is on repeat
Even the winds are dancing in the rain
Promise me you won't let us flow down the drain
Now the rain is leading us nowhere in exact
And everywhere in this instant
Like how i want your touch
Under which i'll blush
To every poem I've witten for you
Physically hear your eyes saying ,"That's exactly how i feel for you"
And that's where love find you ...in the tragedies
Why don't we finally make love and you stop all your tease?
I want to spend these rains with you
Your head in my lap as i read to you
When everything fades away
Will you even bother to stay?
Again am i questioning us
When did i even begin this fuss?
Aren't you tired of this already ?
Every night listening to the same melody
