ASHES

Ashes to Ashes,
Dust to Dust,
Nowhere to be seen, not even a scene Hopefully, I won't have died of sin
I won't have to be seen again,
From the clouds I'll sit and watch From the graveyard, I'll rave among fellow corpses Favored by the heavens, happy I did the right

A person I once talked to,
Shared so much with will, grieve in agony, Just wishing I didn't have to vanish,
Will spend days taking a look at the gone me, but it'll be too late to say a thing,
But even if am gone, you'll hear whispers to your ears,
And I'll tell you how much I did love you And how much I still do in my invisible state
In consolation, I'll tell you am not gone because am an immortal
And am just invisible for the time being,
I'll tell you not to cry because I'm keeping watch over you
And I'll make you your favorite poetry and whisper it to you once am gone

Our arguments I'll have forgotten and perhaps await the day you'll join me in the world of the invisible,
Yes, I'll tell you am not dead,
Am not far away from you
Am just an invisible character taken by my predecessors
And I'll wish you luck in all you will be doing
Ashes to ashes,
Dust to dust,
Do not weep so much, for I loved you
I promise to remember you in this new world
But promise to keep in touch through your talk and fantasies
I will not be dead
But hopefully just invisible!
