The Son had to come for a little while
And then he went away
But he will be coming back here soon
And this time he will stay
He will rule and reign upon the earth
With justice and in truth
We will wonder at his sovereignty
But we will see the proof
I know that I will see him
With my own eyes when he comes
Like lightning in the west so bright
Because he always was
