BROTHERS HUSBANDS FATHERS WITHAL
DIVINITY THY NAME IS WOMAN

About this poem

This is a small Open Form Haiku I conjured up while reflecting on some of the most beautiful people I've known in my life. Invariably they are mostly all women. There's a bit of Shakespeare in there which I hope doesn't deter the actual fact of the message conveyed here.

Hi, I am 47, and I was born in Bombay, now Mumbai - a rebound to its earlier name. I've realized it isn't just names that change but cities and people too. I've changed. Umpteen times. And a thousand circles later I'm back to writing poetry, a passion that began when I first fell in love a million years ago.
