More Than I Can Bare Alone

Many times, the pain is more than I can bare, many times I’m overwhelmed with though of ending my life. Many times, the lonely nights wear at me.
Yet through it all your comfort and peace surround me. Your arms hold me in a peaceful embrace, and I can feel you close to me
Though my mind runs all over the place I find peace in you
Though the tears from my mistake fall from my eyes you are here with your forgiveness, though I feel so unloved, Unwanted, and unimportant.
Lord, you surround me with your love, show me how wanted and how important I am
How Lord can I ever doubt you?
Through each failure, I don’t understand why you put up with me, with each mistake with each sin you surround me with your loving forgiveness.
I don’t deserve you, I don’t deserve this, yet you love me anyway.
Lord, I want to come home to you. I don’t want to be here anymore. Yet I know there is purpose in this.
I know I still have more yet to do here in this life.
Everyday is a battle, everyday war breaks out, yet everyday you see me through.
Some days are not so bad and other feel like hell in itself.
I scream within to let me out, I long and crave for this pain to end. You wrap me in your arms like the loving father you are and walk me through. I know there is purpose in this as well.
If truth be told, I have no life in me without you. I have no reason to push forward without you. I don’t want to do this life.
So, I come to you when life hits, when family condemn me when friends are no where to be found. When I’m lied to, ignored, and can’t take another step. In your love you pull me through.
You lift me up, you brush me off, and light up the path that we walk on. For you never leave me, you never forsake me, you are always by my side. Lord, I love you and I thank you.

Life is tough, then you die !
This is a classic poem about living in pain non stop
I share your plight as I have 24 hour pain for the last 5 years !
But I am 88 so my end is near.
That is a very poignant poem, so well written and true to life !
    I love cats ! I had a white one called Saltie !
