The Scariest Night

Tonight is the scariest,
Night of the year,
The night of Halloween!
Witches and goblins,
Running everywhere,
And black cats and ghosts,
Can be seen!
If you look up,
At the moon in the sky,
You might see a witch,
On her broom fly by!
Or you might see a jack-o-lantern,
With an evil grin,
Laughing out loud,
As it's candle grows dim!
If you hear a noise,
But no one is there,
Don't start to panic,
Don't get scared!
It could be a child,
Playing tricks on you,
Or someone from beyond,
Stopping by to say "BOO"!
The veil between our world,
And their world, is thin,
They can go out,
And they can come in!
Some just pass through,
Some come to stay.
Some are trapped here,
Each night and each day!
So, if you hear a sound,
That doesn't sound right,
Remember, anything can happen,
On Halloween night!
