Turning of Fate

As on life's path I tread
I find thorns and flowers .
When life was filled with success
 of praises, there were showers.

The wheels of fate turned on me
and my failures up it did throw.
In the darkness of life ,
one's true nature each one did show.

Shocked I was when I realised
my pillars of support whom I took to be, who trusted every word of mine
now had no faith in me.

Looking at those who brought tears to my eyes,
a feeling of hatred in my heart did spark. My world lay shattered at my feet,
no ray of hope I saw in the dark.

But just as the sun keeps moving,
so continues the cycle of life.
I know well how to help myself
in this period of strive.
