Ask God

Douglas H. Mc Clintock 1934 (Sarnia, Ontario)

God, when you designed the human body
You got it all wrong,
Us seniors are sick, sad and very groggy
To being not able to go places with the strong !

We have found out, pain is the last frontier,
And who can fix it ?
No one, we must suffer,
My middle names is called, The Big Hurt !

If Jesus had died on the cross
When He was an old senior,
Asking God, "why did You take so long" ?
Enough is enough, my body needs to go !

Life is not always a bowl of cherries,
Our body is forced to age,
Like heart, cancer and diabetes
Who can cope with cancer 4th stage ?

So eat well, exercise and think well
Will it make the difference ?
Only the few it will help
With some help from Mr. Reverence !

Now if you are definitely over the hill
There is proven help called the MAID,
Medical Assistance in Death,
If you have no hope, that is the final answer !

So why suffer, brother, please tell me !
