The False Gospel

Preach me, happy preacher; put a tingle in my ear.
Preach me, happy preacher, the only things I want to hear.

Preach me, happy preacher; I promise to pay my tithes.
Preach me, happy preacher; tell me sweet little lies.

Preach me, happy preacher; tell me how to get rich
Preach me, happy preacher, or I'll throw you in a ditch.

Preach me, happy preacher; tell me life's all about worldly wealth.
Preach me, happy preacher; don't tell me to change myself.

Preach me, happy preacher; don't correct me when I'm wrong.
Preach me, happy preacher; don't give me any sad song.

About this poem

Some people don't attend churches a lot today because false teachers teach only how to become worldly rich. Some teachers/preachers who have preached the false Gospel a.k.a "The Prosperity Gospel" have repented.
