Unconditional Love

The thought never crossed my mind it would end up like this.
I told him I would leave him if he ever again raised his fist.
He hit me once but, it escalated into being more than twice.
A woman like me knows this isn't right.
Unconditional love is written all over my face.
It has even come to the point where he takes what is below my waste.
I am bruised on the inside no longer on the out but, I still get the urge to sometimes scream and shout.
To any women or men who are feeling what I have felt.
Before they hit you again go and seek help.
