A Good Night

It will not be a good night
Unless you stay until morning.
Do not from me give flight,
For I am affirming

My love for you as twilight falls.
Our hearts must together beat.
When luxurious love calls,
Our lips are destined to meet.

Please do not from my side move,
Do not vanish from my sight.
Ah, you remain, which to me does prove
That you will not say goodnight.
