I Always Believed
I Always Believed
Author: Mark V. Markov
There's a place for me.
Someone,
To set me free.
There's a way,
To go.
There's a place for me.
Somewhere,
Someday to be.
Of this I always know.
At times it's hard,
To see,
But no matter what.
Because of Jesus Christ,
There's a heavenly home.
With everything I did,
I was in faith.
I always believed,
Going through life.
In everything I did,
I always believed.
With a living faith that lasts,
This faith I always felt inside.
There's a place for me.
Someone,
To set me free.
There's a way to go.
There's a place for me.
Somewhere,
Someday to be.
Of this I always know.
I'm fine,
I'm all right.
Overcoming all of the past.
As I believe,
Of this I'm sure.
In life,
Along the way,
I never lost the will to believe.
To Jesus Christ,
I was always true inside.
As I pray within a bit.
On the road that is narrow
And not wide.
In every way,
I never lost the will to believe.
To Jesus Christ,
I was always true inside.
In every way,
I never lost the will to live.
To Jesus Christ,
I was always true inside.
As I look around,
With Holy eyes I see.
Everywhere I go,
God's Holy power reaching me.
Looking back,
I found,
The way to be.
With the Holy Spirit's presence,
Filling me.
As this life fades out.
Spirit and soul lives on.
This goodness,
The feeling inside.
God's Holy power,
That makes the world go round.
With everything I did,
I was in faith.
I always believed,
Going through life.
In everything I did,
I always believed.
With a living faith that lasts,
This faith I always felt inside.
As I pray within a bit.
On the road that is narrow
And not wide...
