Haiku
On a fragile vine
 With leaves cut and torn, blooms
A perfect jasmine

About this poem

I saw a jasmine bloom on a vine which I thought would not survive, as a leaf cutter had been busy at work on it. It gave me hope, because I have been diagnosed with cancer.
