Disingenuous AND Calculating

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Disingenuous and calculating.
And act of remorse to show displayed.
By anyone who has consciously participated,
In the ruining of another's life.
With allegations, lies and assumptions.
Far and distant from the facts.
Only those evil,
Would do a thing like that.
Done to attract,
Others to come to lay burdens on one's back.

Yet...
Demons charading to masquerade,
Themselves to be Angels everyday.
Will go out of their way to portray,
A sincere apology...
Given to hear it accepted to receive.
Done to believe the victims is relieved.
And pleased to have the opportunity,
To return...
An anticipated forgiveness given.

'Come closer.
I would like to whisper my thoughts.
And feelings you have brought into my life,
Personally.
Right in your ear to hear.
Come closer.
You have no idea,
How I wish my teeth were razor blades.
Now...
Let us both smile,
For the cameras and other observers.'
