Keyhole

I see you best in the twilight,
in the silence.
Where my heart spins,
an imaginary tale,
of you and I,
as lovers divine,
who are meant to be
and always were.
I hear the siren’s call again.
Just when I thought,
my heart was stone,
it was only frozen,
for a time.
I feel you,
hot like the wind
blowing through,
a wildfire’s blaze,
You walk toward me.
I melt like candle wax,
a puddle at your feet,
Again.
