Glass is full

Give the glass another glance.

Is the glass half full . I ask every day. Was it ever full. Or am I looking askance.

What was the running about. Days turn to years. The running feels like a stationary dance.

Life says stop the running. Appreciate my beauty. Like you used to do once.

Break the shackles. Look at the glass. It was always full. Give yourself one more chance

For in life you kept running without stopping. Chasing a mirage. Stop your strides. Give the glass another glance.

We all run the race of life, but only one wins the prize.
Run as if you would win the prize !
It's better to give of oneself
And always have empty pockets !
