Harder Is The Work

These days to demand ways.
Once had to enjoy and like.
Gone from sight.
Not here to wish.
For anyone to demand,
Them to demand and reappear.
As they were again to get.

Rapidly has change been made.
And not overnight.
To notice the difference made.
Between Sunrise, Sunset.
Or the Moon light.
Searching the sky for falling stars.

Yet...
So many remain spoiled,
By steady habits.
And the addiction of routine.
Unable to adjust.
To understand or comprehend,
What changes in their lives to them mean.

It's going to require harder work.
Just to wake up with eyes opened wider.
Done to do to realize,
Eyes don't lie.
As much as the mind does to limit reality.
And that coffee to smell freshly brewed?
Can no longer be associated,
With the pouring of tea.
To pass on and kept believed,
A gossip shared from rumors heard yesterday.
Will stay as dependable,
Without any truth of it involved.

Harder is the work to come,
To keep from being lost...
Behind these times.
Moving too fast to tolerate nonsense.
With an ease to believe,
The doing of it has its benefits.
And for who will admit it does?
Replacement and critical race theorists?
In need of mental therapists!
Who should stop pouring tea.
And smell the coffee for what it's meant to be!
