Who is Mariah?
Mariah is how she Mariah’s
She aspires to inspire
Tho’ she isn’t aware, I swear
It’s a wonderful Cross to bear
A delightful smile she has
The insightful glee of a child!
Sweet innocence of potential
To bloom against the earthly gloom
Such joy she brings - with annoyance
Incessant chatter about random matters
But bubbly as always, doubly the sun rays
I love her just the same, forever in her name
That’s just who Mariah is
About this poem
I wrote this poem about my daughter after being inspired by a phrase on an ad I saw on the train, while traveling home.
