Darkness evades my soul
No one seems to care
Each day becomes more bearable
Whilst I get used to being alone

Life seems to be more like death than life
Everything around me resembles that of the dead
My surroundings become darker by the day
All hope is gone and
Any chance of resurrection

Maybe this world is not meant for me
Maybe my spirit should be lurking around somewhere else
If only I knew the way out

If only the light could shine upon the darkness of my soul
I would be saved
