TECHNOLOGY AND ITS EFFECTS

Technology or "tech" as millenials refer to it is interchangeably a curse and a blessing
One that is misused doubt countlessly.
One that has diverted a human's concentration senselessly
One that has sadly transformed patience to irritation

The word "internet or the net" used to be overwhelming.
Tech was meant to make interactions easier, not to destroy.
To acquire knowledge, not to down one's intelligence.
Nowadays,  it is abused and misused.

Applications and Software are either developed with wrong intentions
In which case they are used by the wrong people.
Children end up engaging in absurd activities.
Tolerance would come by chance .
The minds of the young end up being estranged from what is "right",
A bad thing is seen as a good thing.

Dare I say we, humans, were pushed by tech into insanity ?
Humans are becoming lazy,
Instead of devouring countless knowledge.
Masticating fruitless knowledge makes sense to most.
Resistance would be futile .
Resistance, too, might be crucial.
The net has manipulated its
But are we to blame for this despair ?

Poetic Mindsoul

Onalethata Mogatosi , aka 'Poetic Mind Soul' through his poetry. Onalethata loves music of various genres, Kwaito, Hip Hop ( which he's selective about),House,Acapella,Choral music,Jazz,Sonatra,Deep house,Piano (Amapiano),Reggae etc. He loves sports such as cricket and soccer, loves watching them and playing them. He not only loved poetry because of peer pressure but he somehow received a sign because he got introduced to it in the early hours of his life , then he was forever in love and has now been intrigued by literature on its own. He lives by this mantra, which he created himself, "Resilience is the key to success" which when explained says : if ever you want to reach success in your life you have to be resilient -with that you can achieve the goals , the dreams and visions you have set out for yourself. A secret about him which nobody notices , is that he likes to motivate people through his quotes which he creates or with advice . Failure is part of success more…
