Blank verse
give me silence;
a little room with a view
of emerald green woods
there I'll find peace

give me comfort;
a soft bed with a pillow
made of white feathers
there I'll find solace

give me inspiration;
a blank paper and pen
served with brewed tea
there I'll find incentive

give me a setting, finally
a place where I belong
I can call it mine
I can call it home

About this poem

My poem, "Home" exists out of four stanzas which consists of four lines each. It's a descriptive piece to express in what I would find happiness and peace. I also believe a lot of other people can resonate with this poem.
