Falling in Love

The term falling in love
Can be taken in various ways
For me, it’s painful
The “falling” part
Actually feels like falling.

I’m falling in love
Falling from the earth, and reality
I’m falling into a deep well full of you
And I can’t pull myself out

Being in this well, it’s scary
I’m trapped due to loving you.
I keep falling, it’s never ending
Maybe I could pull myself out somehow
some way.
But the love, it’s holding me down
And it’s not even love from you
It’s from the love I feel, for you.

I don’t want to fall in love
I don’t want to get trapped in another well
It’s too scary
Heart breaking

But the love part, wow the love part
It makes me want to stay there in that well
forever.

But is it really worth it
If your love isn’t there in return
To pull me out.
