A Man By His Works
“You can tell a tree by the fruit it bears; you can tell a man by his works…”
Then you have So-called leaders, and organizations, who take and hurt,
A billion-dollar jet, mansions, life of ease, still nothing for the people…
They’ve spent an economic system away, twice three, times their equal.
Lied about what their intentions manifested, transparency, no option,
Dividing up the lots, among board members, with no public mentions.
Yet, here comes a real nigga, a Witness, hashtag THE REAL BLACK VOICE,
Black, Caucasian, Mexican, Asian, whoever, it’s time to make a choice.
Right or wrong, your deeds are the ones who you are, good or bad,
Our times past is the foundation towards building the future riad.
So, if your leaders beguiled you, into a life losing your true faith,
Trust in your Lord who created you, the sweetness, just taste.
If they lied to millions, marched about lives deceiving all of us,
Yes, I apologize for them, only if they saw real benefit in trust.
