Out of time

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

I dream of your skyline
You sit their so devine
House of innocence and wine
Pure your path to one so fine
I love you so plane a line
But its all I can to shine
Short am I you to pine
How can I fix your rhyme

You have answers there
Sat upon a heavenly chair
Why so secretive a bare
Of burdens far and there
Broken is your truth
Flawed are you by youth
I know you made all I spoof
So listen now to proof

Your heart is like a wave
It finds me how I stave
Try comfort and to pave
When you are in your cave
Your butterfly is made
I stay so long and grave
We are one for today
So fragile in our stay

And run to you and from
When I'm gone I am gone
You may take away your hand
Make it hard to understand
Without trying you are you
So complex to see through
I can barely hold your mind
That one day I may find

Your soul speaks oft to mine
Your body built like wine
Each drop falls like a sign
Were such tears ever mine
I recall you like a crime
For passion fresh as lime
From the start you did call time
Burning candle small and tiny

And mine a crumbling tower
You hold my deepest power
With heart you overpower
Sweeter each encounter
Your music so much louder
You hair so much browner
My words turn so sour
So shorter grows our dauer
