Shocking

How can anything permitted nonstop,
Continue to remain shocking.
Or disbelieved.
With each event openly witnessed,
Day in and night out...
Everywhere to see.
Increasing suffering and maintained agony.

How can anything permitted,
Nonstop to grow.
And observe mouths to open.
Permanently to leave,
Disbelievers with their jaws to drop.
Then turn away to declare themselves,
Shocked!

Yet...
More shocking than not,
Are those who refuse...
The truth and its reality.
Even as it appears,
Closer to get...
To their own doorsteps.
Assuming their lives to delude and fiction.
Will be kept protected.
If the evidence to ignore it goes away!

As shocking as this may be,
These upheaval and tumultuous days.
Facts to dismiss,
Is an expensive price to pay.
For those who stay convinced,
What spreads to diminish their quality of life.
Is a result of their unadmitted ignorance.
Hidden to deny,
Their own involvement to pretend...
The existence of the shock they experience.
Began behind their locked doors to come out.
From the mouths of their own children!
Taught to teach lessons to learn them well.
