Ok so maybe it's true that f!@#$ with you
Left me a little bit jaded

But I'm not even mad at you
Because I allowed myself to be vulnerable

That I was going to hold my head high
And keep my heart on my sleeve
You secured my insecurities and sold me one hell of a dream
The scars you left I'll try to hide
Bury them with all the others beneath all the lies.
