Always Remember

As I look back on old Memories
That I miss and cherish so
I think to myself how I wish
I would have lingered to remember more

When your children are babies
Their smiles and their laughs
Their first day at school
T-ball and first time at bat

Our pets, oh so precious
So much love they bring
It"s unconditional love
With no hidden strings

Families together having fun
Never thinking these days would end
We all grow older and some move on
If only we could be together again

Now we reminisce about years gone by
And so much has just slipped away
I want to picture and recall each little thing
All the happiness that filled each day

Take it from me, enjoy what you have
Like you've never enjoyed before
Picture and touch and talk and laugh
To remember always what our life is for
