There Is

Jo

There is a bottomless well,
A pit into the deep,
 The darkest parts of hell,
Where the angels weep.
 There is a gaping hole,
A wound that bleeds.
 Into your very soul.
Where the monster feeds.
On all your hopes and dreams,
Getting high off your fears,
 eating all your screams,
While drinking up your tears.
There is an endless void,
Filled with despair.
 Where love is destroyed.
The devil lives there.
 There is a raging fire,
That's burned from the start,
An inferno of pain and desire.
Making ashes of your heart.
On A playground of shame,
In a city built of sorrows
The victims is always to blame.
For the trouble that she borrows...
