Rhythm

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

The night was slowing and an angel still
Meditating to heartbeats at rift,
Two human beings at the start of his shift.
Their breathing wheezy, their rhythm bliss.
The mothers heartbeat was faster and ill.
He looked into her chakra for the pill.
She was anguished her photographs nill,
Deleted that day by fates unbiased will

He sensed that she was about to wake
By questions of God and heavens sake
He moved to an energy she never takes
and stepped back into his meditative womb
Her breathing seemed too fast too soon
She has grown tired and God forsaked
This illness of hers her own mistake
So he moved her energy for comforts sake with his light, and love, and a peaceful shake.
But it was not enough and her eyes drew high
And he knew that she was about to fly
And so she coughed and then she spluttered and then she had to say goodbye.
She heard her son say I don't want you to die
She said I'm just going to see grandma in the sky
And I'll be back in the blink of an eye.
