Glory Hand

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

As the sunset dappled
Her friends child
Wrapped around,
Like wedding mound
Adorned in sand
Glistening and profound,
Their tiny hand
And felt attached
Like an antler grown,
No more alone
