Love

Cameron Rifkin 2006 (Florida)

You wait for me by my Class
I miss our talks from candlelight dinners
Your comforting smile brings me joy
The warmth of your hand holding mine

The words I love you echo in my heart
Feeling the soft touch of your lips
As volts of electricity course through my veins

My head resting gently on your lap
While we fall asleep peacefully by the fire
You called me when i was depressed
Your gentle voice calmed me

I miss our calls when you supported me
The phone stays on the table covered in dust
I still sit in my chair waiting
For you to answer the phone
So I could say I love you once more
