Reflections

Reflections
As you see yourself is how the world sees me
But here I stand alone as the last leaf on a fall’s tree
A whisper in the deepest parts of space
Left behind at a dreaded pace
A forgotten fragment of time

There you are wild and free
But then where is me
You parade around aimlessly
And still there is no me
How do you divide one into two
When there is nothing but you

Grasping at threads as they continue to dart in the wind
Surviving your every whim
Smiling through your expectants
Craving your acceptance
Carefully turning the pages not to cause any lacerations
Seeking any kind of indications

How do I get inside
When you can’t decide
Overseas and mountains you send your emotion
Expecting to travel nowhere for my devotion
The world is waiting for you
But waiting for you here is I too
