A Woman
Nandawula Regine Kabali-Kagwa (NRK-K) 2000 (South Africa)
A WOMAN
Her presence, ever so demanding like the sudden awakening of Spring
Leave others with the thirst for Her morning dew
Her touch brings withering roses to life and dead seas into high tide
Like a cloud, Her character spreads in a magnificent view
Oh her voice... Cascades like the veil of a waterfall
Drenching souls with Her purity, kindness prominent
She's a woman
An anchor for mankind, she grounds as he conquers all
Vile roots are absent in Her eyes
Eyes that are vast with gentleness, a forestry of good intentions
Blooming nothing less than...
Motherly upbringings, love and nurturing vines
She is powerful
Stronger than the outbursts of thunder's calling
Precision as sleek as the aim of lightning
Strikes those who wishes violence upon her
Her mind
A bouquet full of experience and wisdom
Leaves a trail in another's
Petals of guidance, thorns spiteful for the danger that lurks ahead
She's serene, a redeemer and a...Queen
.
Royal Highness you are appreciated
Your love will forever pamper what's broken
Your patience will forever harvest the strength you've given others
You... Will forever be the Epitome of Power
