Kindred Spirit

Walking amongst the flowers, I notice your reflection, as it caresses the once still waters.
Beams of woven light gather around you, to announce the coming dawn.
Come with me, let me share my thoughts with you.
Let me open up to you, let me know who you are.
Share with me your most guarded of secrets, may the honor be mine.
Tell me of your dreams, as we walk through the meadow.
Embrace me, in the arms of the divine.

Kindred spirit, walk with me across the bridges of hope, to the place where light still shines.
May our travels be peaceful, full of laughter, and rhyme.
Share with me on our final day, the knowledge and wisdom, you’ve learned on your way.
Let us hold each other, as the light of day fades.
Our forever journey, is but a heartbeat away.
