Step by step I will walk Calvary’s Road
and to the cross I'll take sins awful load.

Lash by lash the price for each sin I’ll pay
as all the worlds’ sin upon me they lay.
My blood I’ll pour out all their sins to wash,
and waves of mercy will flow from the cross.
