Under the sun

One by one the trucks go by
Loaded with our beautiful trees
Load by load we dump our garbage
Into our beautiful seas
Hundred by thousands we kill the animals
Until we're the only ones
Left to inhabit this lonely world
Under our large hot sun
Some people care most do not
Think about our fate
If we try to change the way we live
It might not be too late
But I think we've passed the threshold
Of saving our selves from what we've done
Our selfishness and stupidity
has caused nature to take action
Against humans that think they're the top
They soon will be the bottom
Well soon be dead and gone
Look where we have gotten
