There’s A Savior, He’s From Up Above

There’s a Savior, He’s from up above.
Although crucified, us He still does love.
He is my Lord and my Savior too.
He cleansed my soul. He’ll do the same for you.

Oh, come on people, it’s so joyful
To feel His love.
Oh, come on people, it’s so easy
To find His love
When you pray to the Lord our God above.

He died upon the cross for you and me;
Upon the cross He bore up to Calvary.
Three days later Jesus Christ arose,
And still His love for His children grows.

Oh, come on people, it’s so joyful
To feel His love.
Oh, come on people, it’s so easy
To find His love
When you pray to the Lord our God above.

Though Satan attacks your heart and soul
Your trust in God must forever flow.
He loves us all – each and everyone.
He loves us so, that He gave His own son.

Oh, come on people, it’s so joyful
To feel His love.
Oh, come on people, it’s so easy
To find His love
When you pray to the Lord our God above.

Be true to Christ and you shall see
What He has in store for you and me.
The time is soon we’ll look upon His face.
‘Til that day does come we shall live by His grace.

Oh, come on people, it’s so joyful
To feel His love.
Oh, come on people, it’s so easy
To find His love
When you pray to the Lord our God above.

It’s so easy to find His love.
It’s so easy to find His love.
His love for you and His love for me
Will last throughout all eternity.

About this poem

What started out as just a poem about Jesus Christ I was writing as a teenager, turned out to be quite suitable as a song as well.
