God The Father

God The Father
Author: Mark V. Markov

Jesus Christ's God
Is God the Father
The One Who sits on the throne
As Jesus Christ sits
At the right hand of God the Father

Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son
That always existed with Him
Before the creation of the world
Therefore Jesus Christ is also God

Same as when a human father has a son
And that son is human
Human like his father
God's only begotten Son
Is God
Since His Father is God

The only begotten Son of God
Is God the Son
He intercedes for us
Before God the Father

Jesus Christ's God
Is God the Father
The One Who sits on the throne
As Jesus Christ sits
At the right hand of God the Father

Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son
That always existed with Him
Before the creation of the world
Therefore Jesus Christ is also God

Same as when a human father has a son
And that son is human
Human like his father
God's only begotten Son
Is God
Since His Father is God

The only begotten Son of God
Is God the Son
He intercedes for us
Before God the Father...

Acts 7:54-56 (ESV)

54 Now when they heard these things they were enraged,
and they ground their teeth at him.

55 But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God,
and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.

56 And he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened,
and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”

Revelation 3 (ESV)

To the Church in Sardis

1 “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write:
‘The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.

“‘I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

2 Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die,
for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God.

3 Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent.
If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief,
and you will not know at what hour I will come against you.

4 Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments,
and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.

5 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments,
and I will never blot his name out of the book of life.
I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.

6 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

Psalm 110:1 (ESV)

The LORD says to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”

Romans 8:33-39 (ESV)

33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.

34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that,
who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution,
or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

36 As it is written,

“For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers,
nor things present nor things to come,
nor powers,

39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hebrews 4:14-16 (ESV)

14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens,
Jesus, the Son of God,
let us hold fast our confession.

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses,
but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace,
that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Acts 2:25-35 (ESV)

25 For David says concerning him,

“‘I saw the Lord always before me,
    for he is at my right hand that I may not be shaken;
26
therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced;
my flesh also will dwell in hope.
27
For you will not abandon my soul to Hades,
or let your Holy One see corruption.
28
You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will make me full of gladness with your presence.’

29 “Brothers, I may say to you with confidence about the patriarch David that he both died and was buried,
and his tomb is with us to this day.

30 Being therefore a prophet,
and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that he would set one of his descendants on his throne,

31 he foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to Hades,
nor did his flesh see corruption.

32 This Jesus God raised up, and of that we all are witnesses.

33 Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God,
and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit,
he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.

34 For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says,

“‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at my right hand,

35
until I make your enemies your footstool.”’
