Unveiling Truth

Rain falling hard
like waterworks from my eyes
After the truth was unveiled
A storm with no control
No option but to face it head on
Like a hurricane leaving pieces behind
Not knowing what to expect in its aftermath
Standing as strong as the only tree left behind
And waiting patiently for it to be over
So it can thrive once again

About this poem

I wrote this poem when I found out I had a brain tumor. Just some thoughts during the whole recovery process.
