Time
Time is a kind wind
that blows all things into obliteration.
That makes the waves
to beat upon the sands.
Smoothing their coarseness
into beautiful gems of varying colors.
Time brings forgiveness
just as the Earth breathes
cleansing itself with natural disasters.
Clearing the air
inviting the light into herself.
Making her whole once again.
Time is a kind friend.
She holds us in her hands
allowing forgiveness again and again.
Shedding us of negative energy,
returning the power to whom it belongs.
Let it be forgiven forever and ever.
About this poem
Sound pros, things don't have to rhyme to feel truly living. "Time is a kind friend" was a line I heard from a movie, and the rest just flowed from the pen.
