Never a winner

I’m killing it today
I’m killing it today
My heart is beating fast
Don’t know how long you’ll last

My hand is steady and warm
A knife under my crown
You plead I stay put
I smile and grab the blade

Your screams are filling me
With life I’ve never seen
Your breaths are cutting short
My cutter did its own work

Now look where you are
I’m here and you’re not
My teeth are shining
With mischief you don’t believe

I win and I slay
I’m composed, you’re my game
I smile and I sing
I laugh with your belief

But now that you’re dead
My heart is bleeding red
I gasp at my doing
I laughed and now I cry
