Fatal seduction

A Clawed hand beckons
A trenchant finger entices
With a grin sharp as needles
And eyes that feel like home
A scent saccharine and welcoming
Cascading among your ebony fog
The seduction of such foreign comfort
And such unfamiliar peace
entwined your sinister chain
in my crestfallen heart
Your arms outstretched
To a homely embrace
I succumb to the pull
Of your phantom magnet
And fall to your temptations
A stroke of my salty cheek
A murmur of sweet nothings
You coddle my frail bones
Drained lifeless and frigid
Your touch soothes my perpetual aches
And fulfills my life long desire
A tear stained letter
Your hand holds the pen
You orchestrate the strings
To my feeble puppet
Your formidable scythe
Your bloodstained cloak
Your clawed hand beckons
And I run to your warmth.
