A child’s laugh

Children…
Children are a gift to you,
They come through you, not from you,
To bring the world it’s puzzle piece of destiny,
If only we could bottle their laughter,
Moving it from one place,
To Every place,
Reserving it for our gloomiest day,
Where we pour it out into the stale air,
Releasing its intoxicating sound into the darkest room, at the darkest hour,
It’s light would hit the wavelengths of the room, traveling through dimensions of time and space which are not seen by the eye but felt by the heart..
A child’s laugh, so pure, and so innocent a sound,
Enters into a persons being through the ears,
Traveling at light speed directly to the heart,
It’s vibrations sweep the cob webs off the dusty shelves within the chambers of the heart,
Helping it to beat once again, at its full capacity,
Boom..boom..boom..
The heart plays it’s drum, remembering its long lost sheet of music,
BOOM.. BOOM.. it plays,
Confidently remembering its place in natures orchestra,
The rhythms of life and love belong to the heart,
It rejoices, thankful to the laughter,
For the laughter came with its set of master keys,
To unlock what once was forgotten,
And as we close the now empty jar,
The room is brighter,
The music in our chest playing it song for all to hear,
We remember that children are the gift,
They come through you,
Not from you.
