Boundless fields between the stars

Among the ceders of wild woods
Spring  flowers among the hills
To wake to stop and listen
 
to Eyes that open to a living world
where fields of green are turning
 
between the boundless hills
and water at our feet
hands in field and setting sun below
 
wading birds off rivers edge
ready for their flight
 
under slender branches
leaves tremble at their roots
shaking with the wind
 
along the shadows out of ground
through dry winds of desert wind
honey bees dance amidst
tight budded flowers on the sandy soil
 
display their colors to pastures of open skies
among the clover blooms and wildflower
along the boundless fields
between the stars and skies
