The light the moon the tides

The light the moon the tides

Liquid silver moons  rise
with which the wind embraces
the Ripples beneath our feet

Open ourselves to ourselves
a hunger unknown to itself
hold on to the day
elusive and rare
the world around and within
that speaks for those who can’t

Journey within the circle
space removed within itself
seed to flower to seed again
to every blade of grass
unite to wave as one

Empty to a blind justice
that which can balance truth
to justice known to
lives of living yet lived

The dust beneath our treaded feet
bare and empty
offer nothing yet can stand
and rest when need to rest

Beneath the trees that give us shade
withered aged hands that tremble slow
pour steam hot water
over dried cracked leaves
puffs of steam rise amidst
the scents of green tea
through sound of dripping water

Hear the blades of grass singing
on the winds of time
see the Faintly moving stars behind a yellow moon
of new found lands of a wondering mind
