The gentle light

The gentle light that sings and heals
in the midday sun
when angle rays dance
amidst the winded trees

The orchestra awakes
to a chorus of voices
within the silent sounds

The dancing of whispering leaves
that crackle in the wind
the setting sun of golden rays
on a chilly blue green winter’s day
the scented air of spring showers
amidst the blossoming flowers

Like a shinning breath it comes alive
Which can’t be owned and gives to all
It fills the heart with hope and cheer
and brings a smile to our spinning orb

Where grey mist behind a desert moon
We feel the stillness grow
And ponder at a reflection of ourselves
as it melts away amidst the distant calls

From shadows long ago
without form nor sound
silently it comes and goes

As a thought of a thoughtless dream
as mountains that were and disappeared
In a flash of recognition

Like pebbles in withered hands
casted back to ancient seas
the rhythm tides fade slowly

into the virgin night to wake to dream
and dream to wake as
to sleep on this timeless shore
